Ride to Work Day - Wednesday 16 October 2013
USC staff and students joined the commuter revolution and celebrated Ride to Work Day by cycling their way to campus.
The Pulse… or as I like to think of them, the ’fire sticks’, next to the USC Art Gallery. I went in to check out the latest exhibition Creative Generation. Impressive display of the best of our local high school students’ artwork. Would love to know how long it took to make the sculpture of a magician out of book pages!
I love working at USC - this is the view from my desk today. All this week, the roos have been mingling with the students on the grass outside my window, eating lunch together and enjoying the glorious sunshine.
Riding the paddle boats is definitely on my to-do list this month. These two were joined by about 10 happy, well-fed ducks as they paddled up and down the river at Sunshine Plaza.

Lake Kawana on my way to gym this morning. It’s quiet on the water today compared to the Saturday rowing carnival we stopped to cheer on last weekend. One of the nicest places to ride around on the Coast.
