Winter morning and a misty vista over the back fence. Might start out a bit brisk, but our winter days warm up brilliantly.
Lake Kawana on my way to gym this morning. It’s quiet on the water today compared to the Saturday rowing carnival we stopped to cheer on last weekend. One of the nicest places to ride around on the Coast.
Lunch in the park on Buderim Hill. Fine views of the Coast… and the University nestled resplendently in the landscape.

The Coast will compete against one town or region from each state and territory for the national award, to be announced in late August.
I’m delighted Google…
A brilliant initiative by one of our very own USC students:
G’day Mate - USC Cultural Partnerships Program (by Liv Baberowski)
Lend Lease has just released this aerial photo of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital site - I was there the other day - it’s really impressive
Mooloolaba Spit on the Sunshine Coast at its very best. Just add fish and chips – does it get any better?
The USC Open Day was a huge hit yesterday – jam-packed with activities, demonstrations, seminars, food and entertainment, not to mention the campus tours lead by these lovely ladies!
To top it off, it was another incredible sunny day on the Sunny Coast with the temperature hovering around 25 degrees.
One of the top spots on the southern end of the Coast - Bulcock Beach looking towards the Caloundra Bar. The coastline here has changed dramatically over the nearly 25 years I’ve lived on the Coast. Where there was once a long sandy esplanade there’s now breaking waves.
